Netflix released the official poster, teaser trailer, and release date for the upcoming thriller WOMAN OF THE HOUR.
The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a yearslong murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.
WOMAN OF THE HOUR stars Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect franchise), Daniel Zovatto (The Pope's Exorcist), Tony Hale (Hocus Pocus 2), Nicolette Robinson ("The Affair"), Pete Holmes ("Crashing"), Autumn Best ("4400"), Kathryn Gallagher ("You"), and Kelley Jakle (Pitch Perfect).
WOMAN OF THE HOUR marks Anna Kendrick's feature directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Ian McDonald (Some Freaks).
The film is executive produced by Kendrick, Mcdonald, Stuart Ford, Zach Garrett, Miguel A. Palos, Jr., Joe Penna, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Paul Barbeau, Sean Patrick O'Reilly, Andrew Deane, and Stephen Crawford.
WOMAN OF THE HOUR is produced by Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules. It is co-produced by Lorelle Lynch, Chris Abernathy, and Tracy Rosenblum.
WOMAN OF THE HOUR will be released exclusively on Netflix on October 18, 2024.
