Emilie Blichfeldt (b. 1991) is renowned for her bold and provocative short films. Her graduation film from the Norwegian Film School in 2018, Sara’s Intimate Confessions, was selected for festivals such as Locarno and Clermont-Ferrand. Her short film Sara's Intimate Confessions won the World Prize at the Locarno Film Festival in 2018. THE UGLY STEPSISTER marks Emilie’s debut as a feature film director.
