THE CROW Brings Us to the Opera in New Scene

Today, Lionsgate released a new scene and poster from the upcoming reimaging of THE CROW based on the original graphic novel by James O'Barr.

In THE CROW, soulmates Eric (Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

Directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) and written by Zach Baylin (King Richard) and William Schneider, THE CROW stars Bill Skarsgård (IT: Chapter 1 & 2), FKA twigs (Honey Boy) and Danny Huston (30 Days of Night). The film is produced by Edward R. Pressman (1994's The Crow), Molly Hassell (Terminal), Victor Hadida (Resident Evil), John Jencks (The Hippopotamus), and Samuel Hadida.

THE CROW arrives only in theaters on August 23rd
